We celebrate the radical diversity of Cologne’s music.

Globale Musik Köln e.V. (GMK) strengthens, connects, and advises the international music scene while supporting the diversity of migrant-musical collectives in Cologne. It makes the city’s musical diversity accessible to a wide audience and advocates for the structural inclusion of all musicians in Cologne. GMK e.V. aims to create new platforms for artistic expression and revitalize existing ones. We view the diverse perspectives of our pluralistic society as part of the norm, not as exceptions. To this end, we also fight politically for equal opportunities and against the structural discrimination faced by many Cologne-based musicians.We offer various consulting and mediation services and create spaces for networking. We organize cultural and socio-cultural projects and are always open to collaborations and to people eager to contribute.
